I recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a master's degree in biomedical engineering. I returned to school after nearly a decade of working clinically with my original degree. My original degree was in sports medicine, studying at the University of Vermont and obtaining a bachelor's degree in science with a concentration in athletic training. 

I've spent the last several years at an academic research institution and have recently moved to the biomedical engineering team working as a biomedical equipment technician at a small regional hospital. 

The research I was involved in surrounded Orthopedics, specializing in medical imaging, and involved device R and D, image post processing, python and MATLAB coding, and CAD design, as well as subject testing and study design meetings.
